The day is approaching

That is right, a day of solo flight. I am a little nervous but friday Jason will be out of town and I will be leading the group by myself. I've been offered lots of help though and I think it should go quite smoothly...or I will crash and burn and grow from it, either way it will be good. This past year working with the youth has really stretched me. In some ways it has been a chance to get back to my roots, to put aside my academics or better yet to apply my academics, towards something that has driven my life these past years. I think the past year I've really grown tired and took my eyes off the reason I came down here, just let the school work take over. Just let my struggles take over. On a sad note I missed an important meeting today I fell asleep on a bench at the school after class in the morning and slept till 1:00. In some ways it was kind of funny, I stayed there most of the day and caught up on my readings, did some knitting as well!! I might get to teach some of the faculty how but I doubt it. anyways signing off for the night. cheers.
